Was excited till I saw ultrawide. Can they get any freaking wider?

Man, what an awful time for most of my newegg gift cards to be in transit via FedEx.

Ultra wide is amazing, especially at this resolution. You can really work with two applications side by side without them feeling absurdly cramped.

Something to be aware of with a 28" 1080p monitor,

My 27" 1080p has noticeable horizontal lines of pixels that I thought were a monitor defect at first. Stretching pixels out to 27" or wider causes a sort of "screen door" effect where pixel rows can be seen if you have relatively good eyesight.

It is a good price for a VA panel however.

1080 is just not a good enough resolution for this size of screen.

plus some of the reviews are a bit scary about "new Asus quality"...

this is 1920 x 1080 ultrawide

not 2560 x 1080 like others

terrible resolution for this ratio/size

I never seen those lines. Your 20/20 must be better than my 20/20

In fact it is an "ultrawide view" in ASUS official page other than an "ultra-widescreen".
