these were $1.97 at homedepot picked up 25 last week. i think there was a thread on it here on sd, not sure as i found out about the price from a friend.

I don't see any mention of these on here being sold for that price at HD. They are currently $4.97 there. You may have caught a regional/local deal at your store.

These also don't have the 3 count limit this time either. You can buy 9 to get the free shipping.

I was at Costco yesterday and found 14w (~100w) Feit Daylight 10 for $50. So $5 per bulb for much brighter ones, although use more energy

I was just at my local Home Depot (Seattle, WA) and they had tons of them. $2.97/ea. Sounds like your HD is ripping you off!
