This is the same kit from 2 weeks ago except now B&M have them for $24. Bought one from the Home Depot in Hawthrone, NY. Had to ask someone for it, looks like they don't keep them on the floor level.

Thanks for posting, was heading to HD anyway today. Hopefully they have one - not too confident in the NiCDs after 2/2 crapped out on me. Got them replaced on warranty fine but at this price I'd get one more li-ion battery.

What's the best way to get a price adjustment? Phone, in store, or web chat?

i enjoy mine. it does exactly what it's designed to do, play AM/FM radio, music via bluetooth, or the aux input. make sure to rove the battery when not using it, it will drain itself trying to power the USB port. Also nice to have the additional basic battery.

Thank OP. Got one for $24. The store only put a couple of them on the shelf just like OP said but the web showed 29 units.

These are VERY hard to find in every store I've checked.

I think the employees are trying to keep them hidden so that they can buy them at rock bottom and then sell them on eBay.

PLEASE Beware this radio, usb charger, bluetooth combo drains the batteries very quickly. It seems to keep the extra features on even if the Radio is off. I have both this one and the previous one single function AM/FM Radio. The previous model would last days if not weeks on a single battery charge and would store for longer periods of time without draining the battery dead. on multiple occassions, I have installed a freshly charged battery and left it off on the counter for several days or a week and surprise the battery is dead.

Looks like a bad design by Ryobi

The USB charger is set to "always on" with these units, so if you leave a battery in while you aren't using it it will slowly drain the charge keeping the USB charging port active.

Just pull the battery out if you won't be using it for an extended period of time. No big deal.

I jumped the big Ryobi tool bag deal a few weeks back here on SD and it came with a radio. If you read on the back just above where the battery connects to the unit in non-colored raised letters it says "Do not store radio on battery when not in use". I agree the unit must be always on in some sense and is an oversight/flaw in design but the seemingly hidden text like leads me to believe their motives were not exactly honest.
