HTC Desire 626s best deal for Cricket cheap android phone?

clearanceman 7,311 1,338 January 21, 2016 at 06:14 AM
Son broke his gen 1 moto G. I see Cricket has HTC
Desire 626s for $70. wondering if this is the best way to go for the money, I don't want to spend more than that, I don't even really want to spend that. But used Moto G is close to that a LG G2 a little more. Want to stick with android phone, thanks

It says if you bring your number, he is already a cricket customer would there still be $20 rebate for existing cricket customers? Also, that phone is slower than the moto G right?

If u can follow basic ADB instructions, u can use the Verizon version of Moto E on Cricket. They're $35 new on E Bay.

But this is $30 even if you don't get the rebate and it's new. I just wonder if it's enough phone. I'm annoyed he broke his phone, he had it for almost a year and it's the first one he's broke. But he's 16 and I hate to give him something slower than what he already has. I have a moto G and it's just barely enough phone. One of my other kids bought himself a LG G2 and it's so much better than my Moto G, it's ridiculous.

How about AT&T Kyocera Hydro Air? $46.29 at Walmart plus $10 sim card if moto G card won't fit.

Or LG Risio on Cricket For $60?

Thinking AT&T Kyocera Hydro Air might be the best option.

Locked AT&T phones work on Cricket, right? Cricket says maybe. Supposedly no unlock code yet for AT&T Kyocera Hydro Air

The G2 is a way better phone but, the Moto E is fast enough and good enough for a young person who's learning about phones and how to take care of them. Like I said, I have 2 and I love them. I've had many different phones over the years and this Moto E is good enough.

All AT&T phones work with Cricket out-of-the-box so, you wouldn't have to get it unlocked.

IMHO, the Moto E is what you need.

Either unlock the Verizon version, buy the GoPhone/AT&T version, the Google play version or the Cricket version.

The Cricket version sounds like the way to go. It has a limited internal storage but, you can put an SD card in for music/videos/pics.

Maybe get the Cricket version Moto E then, your kid can save up for a better one or get them a better one on their birthday or Christmas.

He's 16 so he should know better IMO. I kind of think the AT&T Kyocera Hydro Air for $46.29 splits the difference http://www.walmart.com/ip/AT-T-Ky...e/46428957 5.1 and waterproof too.

Where would someone find these instructions?
