If this is like other LG UF models, the input lag is between 50-60ms. Not great for gaming

I was eyeing this before I bought the Samsung 60JU7090. I am glad I went with Samsung because:
1. Both of these are special models, but I liked the PQ of Samsung more
2. Both are "trimmed" versions of standard models (LG 60UF7700 and Samsung JU7100). Between the two standard models Samsung is much higher rated - doesn't necessarily mean a lot though
3. I didn't like the design of LG as much as I did for Samsung - it is a nice looking TV
4. LG has two legs which didn't work for my table, so something to consider for others as well
5. Samsung has 3D which may matter to some, but is $100 more
6. LG is IPS pane and Samsung is VA panel. LG will have better viewing angles and Samsung will have better blacks and contrast.
7. Samsung has all 4 HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compatible. I believe LG is 1 or 2, but not all 3.
Bought this TV from Best Buy a few weeks, and it delivers some great 4k picture. Like most TV's the picture settings sucked out of the box, but I followed some of the settings found in this post.

I finally made a Slickdeals account to post about this TV, cause it seems to be getting a lot of hate. This TV is gorgeous, and I spent a long time hunting to find a good quality 4K with 4:4:4. I have connected it to my PC with a 980TI, and I'm playing games such as Rocket League, Fallout 4, and the Witcher 3 all in glorious 4k with 60hz. Console peasants should stick to 1080P TV's IMO.

As for 4K content, the TV comes with Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, and Youtube, which all do 4K. If you are going to buy this TV, do your self a favor and get Amazon Video. Prime is already a steal, and they are producing quality shows in 4K glory.

If anyone has better settings please post! And if anyone has questions about it, pleas just PM.

#4 is what tends to make me want a Samsung over a comparable LG. I need a center stand or plan on buying a different stand.

That said - I like the LG just fine.

I bought the Samsung un60ju6390 on black friday for $799. I am not sure if I should have waited for the one you bought because of the 3D. Although, I don't spend much on DVD's. I agree about the Stand. 2 legs would not work for me either.
Back to the LG. The fact that it boasts that it has wide viewing angle could be a plus. My Tv does fade when you get too far to the right or left. Only an issue when I am in the kitchen, but I can still see it. Also, only 3 HDMI, I like having 4.
