I would change title/post to include the term "30 Pin Connector" or something similar as many will likely think this is for a lightning cable.

Sorry about that. I didn't know about those types of subtleties. How do I change the title?

Update, I just looked at the specifications, and it does say lightning...

All of the reviews reference 30 pin, so I think the specs are an error.

Okay. I bought the latest iPod Touch, which came with a lightning cable. Will this non-lightning cable work with it?

Well that sux, I just cancelled my order since I have the 6th generation iPod. But I guess it is useful for the folks out there with older models...

I just bought this cool flashlight that came with Size D batteries. Will AA batteries work?

No offense, but the ports on these cables are completely different sizes (and very noticeably so), how would you even connect this cable to your device. I could understand if they were similarly shaped, but different specs, but the differences are easily apparent and I'm wiling to bet there is absolutely nothing on your device that remotely looks like it could be a port that would accept this cable.

This is my first Apple product ever. I couldn't tell from the picture that it wouldn't fit. I didn't know they had different sized recharging connectors. I just thought that since it didn't say lightning, it somehow would have charged slower. I've only owned this thing for less than 2 months. Geez...
