Great deal on this. Bought the smaller one last year. Best turkey I've ever had.

For those in areas where Meijer is I picked up the XL on clearance for $60 yesterday. YMMV.

I bought it at the Meijer in Mt. Pleasant, MI. They had one left on an endcap near the garden center.

This is not a great product. It just doesn't get hot enough to make it worth the effort. You have to use smaller Turkeys, 10 to 12 pounds and you don't really get the crisp on them that you do from a propane fryer. And forget about duck. It won't get hot enough to render the fat out of the duck skin. We used ours for thanksgiving and it made great tasting turkeys, but they weren't even close to the propane fryer ones.

Well my Wife has done 3 turkeys and 3 or 4 turkey breasts in ours and as you said they were great tasting turkeys. Yes the small fryer says up to 14lb turkey. I'm not sure how hot you want it to get but the thermostat goes up to 375 degrees.
