Thread Details

I reserved three rooms before my cruise and when everyone checked in they gave their personal card to pay for their rooms.

I get home from my cruise and look at my credit card and they have charged me for 7 rooms! Credited me for 3 rooms and a random credit that matches nothing.

I tried to call the hotel to dispute the charge, phone would ring off the hook until someone picked up and then hung up. I emailed them twice before I contacted my credit card.

Now I've called my CC and they say that because there are so many credits and charges that I have to work with the hotel. Not the answer I expected from them and I stopped using the credit card because their lack of help ticks me off.

What should my next step be? Oh and they also charged my friend for her room & her room was charged for three rooms. What a freaking mess.Mad

Give them a week to sort it out, call them and if no resolution, file a charge back.

"This whole.. I have XX company so my pee pee is 2" longer talk is hilarious. Who cares what company is cheapest, best, etc. Pick the company and plan you want and keep it to yourself."

charge back is easy especially if you have proof they also processed the payments on the other CC's, but try to play it nice first and talk with the hotel directly.

Well after waiting three weeks and many promises I filed a formal charge back yesterday.
