This is an intermediate to advanced level course. Prior to taking this course, and in addition to the prerequisites and requirements outlined for the Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree program, you should possess the following experience and skills:

Minimum 2 years of programming experience (preferably in Python)
Git and GitHub experience (assignment code is in a GitHub repo)
Basic machine learning knowledge (especially supervised learning)
Basic statistics knowledge (mean, variance, standard deviation, etc.)
Linear algebra (vectors, matrices, etc.)
Calculus (differentiation, integration, partial derivatives, etc.)

This eliminates me
For machine learning, I think people should check out courses from coursera
https://www.coursera.org/

The machine learning course from Stanford
and
Probabilistic Graphical Models
unfortunately PGM no longer offer new course enrollment but you can go enroll previous session and check up the video.
Daphne Koller and Andrew Ng are founders of coursera and they are both expert in machine learning .

I think the Machine Learning course is probably the prequest for this Google course.

They are teaching an advanced course such as this but can't even fix the bugs in their software in a timely manner. Nice.

I guess they need to teach the machine to fix its own bugs. Smilie
