Vizio M60-C3 buying strategy

I don't have unlimited funds, and our TV is slowly and painfully giving up the ghost. The wife has authorized up to 850 after taxes on a TV to replace our current (freebie) 60' DLP. It looks like we'll get the best bang for the buck, by far, on the Vizio M60-C3, and I have seen it at Costco for $930.
So.. on to the strategy:
BestBuy pricematch to 929.99
Mover's Coupon -10%
Sales tax locally +8%
Discover Deals to buy Giftcards Online (5% cashback) -5%
Normal 1% cashback in addition (so 6% cashback, after tax) -1%
so...

Looking at about $849.71 if my math is correct.
Mover's coupon requires B&M. I realize I can't buy a gift card and get the Discover cash back option to work, so I feel I have 2 options with that, either buy gift cards at a ~5% discount, or buy merchandise online with the Discover for instore pickup, then return instore for store credit or exchange. I can't seem to get an instore gift card with Raise.com, but I found some 4.5% off cards on CardPool.com, so that loses me a few bucks (0.5%), but I think that's acceptable. (have a $25 gift card in reserve)

Any advice on this? Anything I'm missing?
If the "Buy online and return/exchange instore" strategy works, total OOP is $849.71
If I have to buy gift cards on Cardpool.com, it's $854.63

Anyone know if the "buy online, exchange instore" method is workable? Is it more of a YMMV kind of thing?

Thanks!

You get an extra 2 year warranty at Costco, not sure if that makes any difference to you.
