I've been waiting for a M50-C1 refurb. With the 4-year service plan option for $64 and delivery to store (to check it for damage), this gives me a little piece of mind compared to the $399 Woot refurb deal that I passed on late last week. Worth the extra $30 IMO. Plus 5% CB.

I bought the 48" inch in the earlier deals. Would be nice to have gotten 50 for $20 more dollars. Oh well.

The refurbed M50-C1 was under $400 a few days ago on Woot and got no love.

If I buy the 4K model, do te smart apps for Amazon and Netflix support 4K content? I know its not really worth it to get 4k, but for only an extra $100, I would be willing. But I am not going to be buying new devices to deliver non-existent 4k content yet.

The Netflix app does support 4k and has a line item in the list of shows that says "4k Ultra HD titles" or something like that. I have 3 different sizes of the 4k tvs and Netflix 4k is on there. Youtube 4k is not true 4k as the codec is not the right one (you'll have to google that one), Amazon doesn't appear to have 4k titles that I can tell. The TV does upscale regular content though.

just picked up the M50-C1. missed out on a bunch of deals for it over the last few months. about $500 out the door plus a 3 year warranty is good enough for me

Not even a year ago these Walmart refurbs were quite a bit cheaper. I got a 50" Vizio for $279. Yes they were 2014 models but still it seems Walmart is not giving quite as good a deal. Mine also has 4 HDMI ports. I see most now have three or some even only two. I guess its Vizio's way to cut costs. Newer TVs should have more HDMI ports not less.

the ad is misleading, the actual TV for $329 is not 4k when added to cart it is $429.

Its correct, there's just not enough room on mobile to fit whole title so they paraphrase. Still an excellent deal for anyone that doesn't mind a refurbished TV.
