Had this same remote for a year or so, not too fond of it.
Recently upgraded to an Elite and love the Elite.

Also bought my kids the cheap model, with no screen, for $69 (home control with a hub). Honestly - if it doesn't have a hub, I wouldn't recommend at all.

Still have a Harmony ONE, Harmony Ultimate (BNIB) & Harmony Touch at my house and I don't use any of them. They just sit in a box lol

Good deal, i pulled the trigger on smart control this year - would like to control devices individually, but I think I prefer the hub setup

Buttons are in the wrong spot (above the screen). You'll be reminded of the money you saved each time you use it. Wink

I went with the harmony home also, but it still basically has the same button layout as this one. I agree, the button placement above the screen is one of the stupidest design moves ever. It turns a one hand remote into a 2 hand remote, because you are afraid to drop your $300 baby.

I ended up with the Elite and love it. Stupid expensive, buy Best Buy runs the Harmony trade in promo a lot which knocks $100 off.

Ugh. Horrible remote. Don't waste your money. Get a Harmony 650 or 700 (rechargeable 650 basically). They're way simpler to use, more responsive, and have enough functions for 99% of the people who use these remotes.

I've had mine 2 years now. The elite wasnt a thing back then, but it sure looks like they listened to their customers and fixed some of the design issues with the Home. I just cant spend on another remote until this one is on its last leg. I made my 880 last 8 or so years. It still runs albeit with gorilla glue holding part of it together.

Wonder if this one is being closed out. Lots of little nit picks about it. I skipped it and planned to wait for a good deal on the Elite which looks like a much better designed remote.

Wish they would have a similar feature rich remote to the AVL300 which could once get for under 70.....when that dies on me, will have to spend a lot more for a suitable replacement. RF support is a definite need.

I was going to ask if it supports Roku, but I looked it up myself instead. It supports IR and hub-based Roku devices in case anyone is interested.

I got this remote for this price from Best Buy last month. Still not sure how I feel about it.. I don't mind the button placement but the touch screen is not perfect. Taps are not as instant as button presses and it ends up not making things convenient because you have to tap through the screen and switch to a different device if you want to do specific functions for that device.. I think I will continue to like it more as I get more used to it but I would recommend playing around with it before buying if possible.. It's a fancy looking and nice feeling remote
