Been on the lookout for these speakers, would like to purchase new ones but can't seem to find any discounted anywhere or discounted cards to buy them through resellers.

Their rep is so good it is hard to find them at any great bargain. Almost always around $249. You might find them cheaper every now and then on Ebay or rarely when someone has some general X off Y coupon code sale, but that is likely the extent of it in my experience.

Have you looked at the factory refurbished area [audioengineusa.com] on their website? It's usually about 20% off in there if there's stock. Otherwise, prices seem to be the same all over the internet.

You're best bet is going to be either to keep an eye out for a 10% off coupon or buy factory refurbished. You find occasional discounts (like the ones on Black Friday or the occasional Massdrop deal) but they are fairly rare.

I've been checking refurb but it's always out of stock when I check, I haven't seen a 10% coupon yet. I actually figured a way to save a bit on these last night, someone local to me was selling $100 worth of Amazon gift cards he ended up selling them to me for $60, so I used that towards the $249 purchase, ended up getting the stands too. Might be the only way to get these cheaper aside from refurb.

Nice buy. I have the previous model (the A2s) and they are awesome. Worth every penny even if you have to pay full price imo. It never ceases to amaze me how many people live with crummy, cheap PC speakers and just do not recognize hi-fidelity\quality sound. It is all relative of course as one is not going to the level of a high end, multi-thousand dollar home theater system with these either, but these are by far the best PC speakers under $300 I have ever heard, esp. for classical music. Add in a decent sub to make it even better.
