I've been on the fence about what sound upgrade to do, what pioneer speakers did you pick up if you don't mind me asking?

I have a 2014 Vizio TV. I have it set up with the stand as opposed to wall mount. This soundbar would block a portion of the TV because of its height. I guess the designers of the soundbar don't communicate with the TV group. I have no plans to wall mount my TV so I guess a soundbar is not an option.

Simple fix would be a TV Stand.

Reread my post. The standard stand of the TV makes the TV sit too low. I would have to raise up the stand and that would be unsafe

You're absolutely right. I have a 42" and a 40" versions and I also have an LG set. Vizio is cheap but for a reason. the LG Soundbar integrates a million times better than the Vizio. For example, my m series Vizio volume goes up to 100 but the 40" connected via ARC goes up to 30? just plain dumb

lol. Just got these yesterday. I had to laugh though because these aren't even comparable. Pioneers > Vizio.

and the price? without the obvious you get what you pay for, those on a budget may want to factor in cost of subwoofer and a receiver. Vizio sounds better than most soundbars except the pioneer's own soundbar that had bluetooth issues

Here's a picture. Notice the clearance between the TV and where it sits is less than 2". Adding in the frame of the TV and its less than 3". Ridiculous that Vizio can't coordinate their accessories. I haven't done a lot of comparison but I'm guessing almost any soundbar wouldn't work.
