I just bought a GoPro 4 Hero 4 Silver, brand new, for $265 all in, after taxes, shipping, etc. Here's the steps.

1. Dick's selling the GoPro 4 Silver for $299. You have to add it to the cart to see the price.

http://www.dickssportinggoods.com...d=50195886

2. Go to the step before placing the order, figure out how much it'll be after taxes. For me, it was around $325 for New York.

3. Go to Raise.com, that is currently selling Dick's e-gift cards for 20% off. My was delivered instantly. If it is not delivered instantly, chat with Raise and they can make it get to you instantly.

4. Once you get your Raise gift card, which will be a code and a pin, use it to buy the GoPro from Dick's.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Xiaomi is clone garbage, they're not even doing as well as they were in China. Not a chance they enter the US with patent laws

yup.. this exactly, the difference is not worth 200-300% more. you don't get that much percentage back in function and quality..

gear best has it for cheaper as well.

Alternatively, you can have Target Price Match it and do 5% off with Red Card. Add in any additional coupons you may have (10% or 15%) and you can get a pretty slick deal as well. It's not quite as good as this, but also an option.

The Xiaomi only comapres to the low end gopro lines. You do get more with the GoPro, especially with the higher end stuff.

How's low light functionality with this one? My guess is it's on par with the entry level Gopro, which sucks.

While marginally better quality and features, the Gopro 4s are 400% more expensive. Not even close value-wise. You have one little mishap with the GoPro, and bye bye $300+. Crash and break your Yi or SJCam, not nearly as painful. The Yi is also very durable.

I believe it is comparable to the GoPro but I urge you to do your own research. There is a TON of information out there.

The Yi is also VERY customize-able with scripts.

i swear if Xiaomi ever hit US market with their smart phone, Samsung will be in deep trouble...

tho their build quality are cheap, but their hardware spec are pretty powerful for a $100 smart phone, pop in a nano sim into a mini sim adapter to play with it from my S6 and i just left it in there, i could't go bak to Samsung Galaxy line anymore... too many bloatware
