I've used the free version for quite a while now.
An updated version with WiFi capability has just been developed and is presently on sale for .99 cents!
New WiFi PC Mouse + Keyboard added! Control your PC from your phone.
This is the ad free version of IR Universal Remote™ released on January 5th 2016.

IR Universal Remote™ turns your phone into a real universal remote controller. Use your phone's built in IR Blaster to control infrared devices such as your TV, Cable Box, Satellite Receiver, Bluray Player, Sound Bar, DVD Player, Game Console, DVR, and more! Don't have an IR Blaster? No problem! IR Universal Remote also has smart remote control capabilities. Control your LG Smart TV, WebOS, and Samsung TV over WiFi and cast your favorite photos, videos, and music to Chromecast, Xbox One, Android TV, Fire TV, LG TV, and Roku.

I kinda miss not having an IR blaster on my Note 5.
dead. looks like they raised the price to .99 dollars.

I believe you meant to say or perhaps "$0.99." In America, the period goes inside the quotation marks when a sentence ends with a quote. Just pointing that out while we're being unnecessarily technical on a deal forum.

I was checking out Any Mote. It looks great, but I didn't want to part with the $7!

When I open the link, it is showing me free to install. I did not see .99. Am I missing anything?

infrared vs wifi? are there set-up instructions? How do you know which is which?

I would think Fire TV could be both.

".99 cents" is not the real price. I believe you mean "99 cents" or perhaps "$0.99".

It's strange. I purchased the app using Google credit as a payment. It's automatically downloaded and installed. I uninstalled it since I did not intend to install it on this particular device. Received cancellation email from Google right after that. No explanation as of why.
Thanks anyway OP.
