Call me a stickler for details but:

These are not Samsung refurbs, just "inspected, cleaned and refurbished (if necessary) at manufacturer approved repair center." Not the same.
Explain for others to know what this means.
Basically you are stuck with what carrier pushed on your device, so don't expect to above 5.1? Or has 6 been pushed to this yet? If so, it's a good one.

But as far as buying refurb on ebay, risky purchase of the month... Good luck.
I am so happy I grabbed a brand new Note 3 for $250 from Walmart last month.
Lock boot loader. Not prized like T-mobile device.

Good price, Guaranteed selling price of 301... minus 30 eBay fee still nets 20 bucks. on a 250 investment for 7 days. Nice!

eBay has a solid deal on the Note 4 manufacturer refurbished black or white models. http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/381369951164

Awesome price.

If it's bad, just return the phone.

That's a terrible price. It's not worth paying the same price for an older, flawed phone that was pretty much fixed in every dimension with the note 4 even if it is new compared to used/refurbished. The note 4 has a far better camera, far better screen, better brightness, and finally got some rigidity with its aluminum frame.

I prefer a brand new one. $250 for a Note 3 brand new was worth for me.
I am still considering this but I don't think I'll go with this refurb deals off ebay.
"Just return it" doesn't work if the phone craps out or things go wrong after 2 months down the road. I don't think Amex or anything else covers ebay refurb deals that go bust.

Fair enough. If you can't buy second hand you just have to deal with high prices. I almost exclusively buy electronics used on eBay and sometimes cowboom these days and rarely have an issue.

just to let you know that I have bought several Note 4 phones from this seller when the price was 279.99 and they all came in brand new condition without a single scratch and I sold them all locally for aroubd 320 each. if you are looking for a Note 4 on At&t then this is a great deal. I am telling you from my personal experience.

also PayPal gives you 180 days to dispute the transaction if the phone craps out. that's like 6 months.
