Get another $15 in points (for Sears/Kmart) by going through the SYWR portal to OD to buy this (1/31 is the last day for $15 bonus SYWR points offer):

Code:
http://www.syweverywhere.com/

This SYWR extra deal for $15 back in points says it expires tonight 1/31 at midnight Pacific time, so hurry!

==========

NOTE 00: Bonus rewards offers are reportedly paid out in $10 increments. See post #9 in the thread http://slickdeals.net/f/8183184 concering the deal http://slickdeals.net/f/7590134

NOTE 01: Paying with rewards, coupons or merchandise cards generally will reduce the rewards payout.

NOTE 02: To date, an "item" has been a distinct SKU.

NOTE 03: Prices may vary. Offer is 100% back regardless of price.

NOTE 04: Rewards earned in January will be paid out in the middle of February and will expire April 30th at 11:59 PM ET. Rewards earned in February will be paid out in the middle of March and will expire May 31th at 11:59 PM ET.

NOTE 05: Office Depot generally does not note bonus rewards offers on product pages.

wonder if it is bought today, 1/31, that the rewards will show up in a couple weeks with the February certificates ? Be nice to not have to wait.

If you pay $19 OOP you get 100% back in rewards.
If you use coupon it will reduce rewards.

Actually if you spend $19 OOP, you only get $10 in reward because they give you 1900 points. You can only redeem for a $10 reward in 1000 point increments. You would need to spend $10 to get 100 more points for another $10 reward or the remaining points will expire.

They are very tricky.

Shouldn't it be just one more dollar? 1 point = $0.01 or 1 cent.

Unless there is a promotion, you normally get 10% of what you spend in reward points, so spending $10 will get you 100 points. For this promotion, the price is $19.99, so yea you would only need to spend $1 more. I would look for a $1 filler item.

So, best to just get the $21.99 pens and not worry about the other $1.99?
If anything, this should at least satisfy the minimum purchase requirement for recycling ink cartridges for this next month.

Depends how much you shop at OD. Points expire at the end of the quarter. If you are fine with losing out on the $1.99, then that would work.

Make sure you are signed up for Shop Your Way Rewards and go through their portal here to go to OD online so you can ALSO get $15 kmart/sears points back on $15 or more purchase that doesn't reduce your OD points payout at all:

Code:
http://www.syweverywhere.com/

Also a $10 off $40 code that expires today you can use in the OD cart, too:
