Deal Alert Storage

Chrisnewsom 24 10 February 2, 2016 at 11:12 AM
Where do my deal alerts go after the initial on-screen notification? Are they stored somewhere?
Thanks

Unfortunately they are not stored anywhere if you have opted into receiving deal alert notifications via push only. You can edit your deal alert in the app to receive via email or PM as well, but some of that functionality is desktop only (PM).

We are going to be adding a lot of great functionality to the app involving deal alerts, including the ability for you to see your past push notifications in one place, so stay tuned, much of this is coming.

Let me know if you need more information or if that doesn't answer your question, thanks!

How would one delete a deal alert, from the list of saved alerts in the app?

Go to 'More', then 'Deal Alerts'. Your deal alerts should load into that page. Tap on the alert, and it will open up. There you can hit the 'X' button to delete the alert (it will prompt you to make sure you want to do it after you hit 'X') or you can edit the alert settings.

Let me know if that helps, thanks!

Thank you! I was hitting the bar, thinking that was the same as pressing the "X".

Yeah, you can do that, but you won't actually receive an email alert, because email alerts are broken.
