Ctrl-click link on front page doesn't function correctly

orev 42 20 February 3, 2016 at 09:42 AM
Using Firefox on Windows.

To open a link in a new tab, there are 2 options: 1) right-click, then select "open in new tab"; 2) ctrl-click on link.

On the slickdeals front page, ctrl-click doesn't work and it opens the page in the current tab instead of a new one. This is the only site I have ever seen this happen on. There is some interaction going on with whatever javascript you're using that is interfering with this functionality.

To be clear, the ctrl-click functionality is the default behavior of firefox, and something in the slickdeals code is interfering with it.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. Just to confirm, are you on the Classic or Redesign version of the site?

Thanks

Looks like classic view. Redesign version seems to work better.
