Good price, but I cancel my order when I realized this was a pressed dates bar, not a baked brownie.

if its vegan, that already implies no eggs or poultry, isn't it?

Eating dates before or during a run gives u lots of energy though never fails me. Cheaper than last time too.

not really. welcome to real food. as opposed to a different brand of bar which will have 15g+ of refined sugar? I'll take dates all day. this coming from an avid runner. larabars are also ftw

Don't know if you've ever actually tried such bars, but you may be very, very surprised at the flavor. I know I was.

I was very surprised that the picture shows a brownie. I did not know this brand, and thought it was a brownie.

I laugh at Larabar flavor names. Currently though, Larabars are $12ish S&S for 16 count 'Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.' But, I know the Larabars brand, and know they are made with dates. In both cases, if that is what they are, just call them that.

If I see a single bar of Pure Organic in the store I will try it. They show a brownie on the package, which is misleading if one does not look at the ingredients and does not know the brand.

Oh, I totally get that gripe. I actually thought the same thing when I read the ingredients.

I will say, though, dates do seem to enhance the background flavors, so definitely give these bars a shot if you can get them in single packs. A local store usually has these for a buck a bar every two or three weeks.

The Larabars were a couple bucks a box at one point last month, I bought two.
