I think they removed the ir port in this. Really its a downgrade from the original Volt. Volt is great as a TV/Roku remote.

Looks to be a pretty good sale on a rather popular phone. Perhaps someone could chime in & let us know whether these work on RingPlus?

Its the power button and volume buttons on the back. After a bit of getting used to, theyre just fine to use. The home button is still on the front of the phone on the nav bar. This phone also has tap to wake anyways so you dont even need to touch the power button.

Either way, I dont think theres another quad core 720p phone out there for the same price, though Im not sure Id call it an upgrade to the original Volt. Though theres a bigger and higher resolution screen, the battery is smaller and it loses its IR blaster. Both are still great phones though for what you pay.

I completely agree that the power and volume buttons are just fine to use even though they are in the back. I rarely use the power button on my G3. Many apps, players have volume controls on the screen anyway, not that they are hard to access. One would need some getting used to but it's not at all bad after that.

What other reasonable cost phones do people recommend these days for use with RingPlus? I like my Volt 1 phone a lot, but seems like those are not available anymore (at least at a low price).

Sprints Moto-e is a popular option.
