AT&T, T-Mobile or Cricket ... MVNO?

Thread Details

I have a grandfathered family plan with AT&T w/ employer discount - no data.
I have one PDA phone and so they do not bill data for me

However, they started sending emails stating they added data but I never see them. Before long they might want to charge data. I already have wireless plans with R+ and Freedompop.

I use Ooma Hub - some calls do not go though or poor quality. GV via Obihai is even worse. THen my AT&T comes handy.

If I were to move to another plan, who should I go to that gives good quality calls? I am thinking Cricket or TMobile. I am bit disappointed with R+ call quality. Unsure what Cricket is like? Thanks

I have Cricket and it works just as well as AT&T. AT&T actually owns Cricket so they use the same network. They do cap speeds at 8 Mbps, but it's plenty fast for me. Right now they are offering a $50 bill credit for porting in a number as long as it's not from AT&T. And you can receive a $25 bill credit as well if you sign up via a referral link. If you're interested in the link shoot me a direct message, if you have any other questions let me know! They also have smartphone discounts for new accounts, or you can use your own phone, just need to buy the sim card for $10 (one-time purchase).

I have been using tmobile in Vegas for 12 years. I get great reception and great quality during calls. I love that when you run out of data it just slows down, unlike other carriers that charge you use more and more money as you go passed your alloted data.

If you have Sprint available they are running some insane deals to switch. I just moved over from Tmobile and they offered a 50% lower montly. I used the difference to do a pay off on a new Iphone 6s and insurance - ended up at the same $60/mo with a new phone and more data.
