Any deals on Nvidia Shield TV 16 g?

l34rn25 26 10 February 5, 2016 at 04:28 PM
I'm looking to buy an Nvidia Shield TV 16g and the lowest I can find is 193 dollars on Amazon. All deals on Nvidia Shield TV here in SD are dead that's why I'm trying my luck here. I'm looking for at least 150 to 170 dollars. thanks

It's hard to be patient as the tech gets older!! lol. I'm waiting as well. Maybe President's Day? I'd like the version on amazon with both remote + game controller.

Yep, I'm waiting too. Thought it was overpriced at $150 in December, at least for my needs. But apparently that was considered a really good deal! No rumours of a replacement coming out either.

I'm wondering if the Amazon $199.99 bundle isn't a pretty good buy if one needed the remote. It comes with the game controller + remote. The remote alone is $50 a lot of places. Any thoughts?

I thought it was overpriced too, but you have the latest best tech out today. So you always have to pay the premium for bragging rights.

I'm sticking with my rooted aftv first gen until prices drop again, before buying another android type box unit for a 2nd tv in the house. The shield tv is what I would buy if we see anything like $150 or less (maybe with coupon codes etc).

Still a little high...maybe wait for $180 atleast. Stay patient and keep hawking slickdeals for any coupon codes etc to bring prices down..something may come up between now and end of March.
If nothing, then maybe sometime in Summer months or August back to school period. A good stop cog device is the aftv stick if it comes for $24-$35 (if you must have something right away to provide your streaming fix).

We have a 1gen aftv & nexus player for 2 tvs but holding out for a bomb media player for living room Smilie Really impressed by android tv's live channels app. Wish amazon Prime video would tie up with the shield for the wife, but oh well!

I'm waiting as well. I might be buying a aftv stick for the meantime to place on the tv in the workout room. I'd rather spend that money on the Shield TV though. I think $150 is a good price for this device. I don't want to spend $200.
