NOTE: ACTIVATION REQUIRED

This deal appears to be back, but now up to eleven returns through the end of 2016:

LINKY [paypal.com]

Here's the previous +561 FP post from October.

NOTE: For me, and for many people, the confirmation page had the old expiration date of 1/31/16 near the top. However, the instructions below clearly stated that this was good from February 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.

INFO:
1. Pay with PayPal: Activate with your PayPal account. Offer applies to eligible purchases made with PayPal on or after February 1, 2016.* Save your PayPal receipt.

2. Send something back: Save proof of your return. We'll refund up to $30 of return shipping costs for each claim, for up to 11 refunds until December 31, 2016.

3. Request a refund: Visit the refund request page to file your claim within 14 days of the return ship date.

4. Get your refund: If your claim is approved, we'll send a refund to your PayPal account within 10 business days.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

You are not kidding. I sold a cassette tape collection, and the buyer said they were damaged, and when I told paypal I wanted them returned, he retained 6 of the most valuable tapes. Paypal made me file a police report (which I did), and still only got $20 back out of $150, even though the value of the collection was destroyed.

Paypal representatives assured me that they were looking at this closely, especially given the multiple misleading statements made by buyer (in emails they could see).

But alas, in the end, it is all on autopilot, and the buyer is always right, apparently.

Dumb Question: Does it work for Paypal e-gift cards brought through eBay?

lol, same here. It said 11 at first, then switched me to 4. It may just be they are reusing the old activation results page because the bottom says up to 11.

Yeah, I noted that in the OP. But I did keep screen shots of the details that I mentioned, so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

Uh . . . that was a week ago. But the fine print at the bottom says Dec. 31, 2015. Typo?

When this displays on the front page, it shows valid until 1-31-2016, not 12/31/2016 FYI.

1/31? So, this offer is only good for past purchases then? I hope this is made more clear in the OP.

Does this work on multiple accounts? When I log out and log in to my second account, it says I'm already activated.
