Are there any low/no cost phone carriers (like RingPlus & FreedomPop) that DON'T use Sprint?

I'm interested in switching to a low/no cost provider, but everything I read about Sprint's coverage here in NYC is horrible. I also had problems with connections when I had MetroPCS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You mean like.. most MVNOs? just search for whatever carrier's network you would prefer to use and MVNO, so ATT MVNO for example or here's a list...

I've not tried them myself but I would recommend PagePlus, they use the verizon network so you'll probably have good coverage and they have pretty flexible plans, so as low as $10 pre-paid or $40/m for unlimited calls/texts.

Depending on where you are in the US, Ting runs on TMobile's network.
