Kanoa Wireless Earbuds - $129 with promo code "blamemichael"

Normally these retail for $299, but are on sale for $150 and you can use promo code "blamemichael" for an additional $20 off. If that does not work, you can still get it for $139 with promo code "kanoafan"

Steps to get it:

1. Go to their website [getkanoa.com]
2. Click Pre-order
3. enter promo code of choice - "blamemichael" -OR- "kanoafan" NOT BOTH
4. CHECK OUT
5. SHIPPING DATE FOR FIRST ORDERS are in APRIL
6. Checkthis page [crazy-faith.com] or this spreadsheet [google.com] for more detailed specs

I guess this promo expires after they sell their first set of pre-orders

You guys havent even solidified your pricing. Is it 129 or 139 or 159? You dont even know. You guys weren't ready to launch and what about the shipping? Is that going to be a big surprise once they're ready whenever that is? You guys are coming off as amateurs you need solid pricing no promo crap. Keeps people from pulling the trigger right then and there. I'll wait for a promoSmilie Your already asking for money on something that hasn't even been made.

Exact sentiment here. Also, I sent them an email asking what the 'frequency range' was and the reply I got was "up to 30 feet range". SMH. Talk about amateurs.

I sent an email via "Contact Us" to ask what the Frequency Range would be on these and the reply was "Up to 30 feet". So I said "Please learn what 'frequency range' means and reply again. So far no reply. I'm not sure if I'm willing to buy under such circumstance.

Hello MightyChow,

Per Kanoa FAQ page - KANOA earphones feature the latest in high-fidelity audio technology including balanced-armature drivers and loss-less quality audio. The sound profile of KANOA earphones has been specially developed and optimized within the operating range of popular music genres, delivering a full-range (20Hz - 20kHz) response with warm yet precise bass, smooth mids and crystal clear highs. Music for example is able to be transfer with being broken down due to our unique chipset. This is a huge improvement in technology that leaves musicians and audiophiles alike satisfied.

In my mind's eye the "balanced armature" drivers are capable of better response than listed. In any case the drivers will be limited by your devices bluetooth capabilty and compatibility with Bluetooth and APT X who states the following specs.

From aptX website -
Compression ratio: 4:1
Audio Format: 16-bit, 44.1kHz (CD-Quality)
Data Rates: 352kbps
Frequency Response: 10Hz to 22kHz
Algorithmic Delay: <1.89ms @ Fs 48KHz
Dynamic Range: 16-bit: >92dB
THD+N: -68.8dB

Since BT3.0 and up are capable of meeting aptX maximum data rates you can expect full quality from 320VBR audio files at the average full range of human hearing (20Hz to 20 kHz)... don't expect full quality from your 192khz/24bit HiRes .flac files! Wink

Hope this helps Smilie
