seems like a decent deal, but can't get over the style... the stand looks like its penguin feet.

For me, the stand is usually not a big deal, as I tend to like wall-mounted TVs, keeps the TV 'Kid Finger' free. LOL

Actually, since 4k is averaged 1080p on most sources, averaging source code with "motion rate technology" is similarly valued.

I had actually noticed that about refresh rates in 4K TVs when i purchased by 70" VIZIO. It seems even the very upper end 4K LEDs are maxing out at 120hz true ref rate.

Since you seem to be pretty technologically savvy, can you add your two cents on why that is? I remember back in the day I used to see even 240hz LCD TVs on even smaller sizes. I chalked it up to LED and image processing being much better to not need such high ref rates, and since I couldn't tell much difference, I just went with a TV where I liked the picture when Transformers was playing on it in HD.
