Bought one on BF for $150. Sold it already. Not that great of a picture.

This TV is okay (very good sound), but I've always found the color to be off when watching anything other than cartoons or video games. I've spent hours tweaking it and got it to a pretty acceptable level, but I probably wouldn't buy it for more than $200 (I bought it on Black Friday).

My grandmother's going to be in the market for a new tv soon and she thought it'd be a good idea to have me check out "that deals site." I don't know what to have her get.

A lot of the televisions that are in her price range have good reviews, but they've also got bad reviews as well. I mean, that's no surprise, as you'll find that with just about everything. I just wish it were a bit clearer which are THE best.

I guess we'll just have to take a shot and hope it works out. If not, return it.

I have some concerns about the refresh rates too at that size

It's back.. Got two of these during BF, after the flip, return, price match etc, - the price for the tvs, I was left with around $1100.

Ok. Explain what you did here exactly. I think I am picking up what you were putting down there. Just want to make sure.

My sound on mine sucks. Totally muffled. I think there is a bad speaker. I do have the geek squad protection on it, but I'll wait a bit to use it. I'm too late past the return policy for a swap.

I'm going to buy a sound bar today & use it. This isn't my HT set-up, but none the less, the sound is not bearable. Even for the basic tv I bought it for.

Totally agree on the color I tried all sorts of tweaks from here, but for $249 (what I paid) I guess I can't complain too much.
