Thumbs up for the great price on name brand name wheels. I usually don't pay attention to what I have on my angle grinders, so I wonder if I would notice any difference going with Dewalt branded wheels versus the ones that I can pick up locally in 5 or ten packs for under a buck each?

quality shows. they last much longer and You will know the difference when a cheap one explodes and imbeds itself in you.

I've used name branded wheels on my grinders ever since two of the HF wheels came apart on me when grinding down some steel tie down anchors on a tow lift. Remember that 5" grinders can get to 10K rpm. Plenty of speed/rotation to do some serious damage when a wheel comes apart.

I'll let my workers or contractors borrow the crap grinders all day long....
