Good evening fellow slickdealers,

I recieved an email from Pinecone research and took a qualifier survey. They invited me to download a shoptracker app that would pull my order history from amazon. Has anyone done this. Is this legit? I trust Pinecone more than other survey companies but just wanted to check.

Thanks

I had gotten that email too but they only paying 300 points which equals to $3.00 Frown
That's not enough incentive for me to turn over my amazon shopping history.

Did you check with Karen to make sure it is legit?

I downloaded it a few days ago and have already got my 300 points so I'd say it was legit :-)

I was invited as well but I decided it was not worth 3.00.

This is really worth MUCH More than only $3. Most app downloads collect more of your personal info than they lead you to believe, so even if you delete the app after the required timeframe, they already took what they wanted and make thousands of $$$$$ while you only got $3 bucks.

agreed. but the # of people who got this survey was prolly a large # thus the low incentive... I think this should be worth 600 pts or more.. but I did it and I was rewarded asap... I thought it was worth it...

I did it as it was quick and painless and was quickly credited the 300 points as promised.

Got in on it as well. The qualifier didn't mention how much but stated a special incentive. When I got the email saying I was in and that the incentive was 300 points I passed on doing it.

I passed on it too...mainly because they didnt specify it was for Windows only (I have windows at work and MAC at home). And I wasn't about to put a random app on my work computer. THEN I saw that it was only 3.00...that's not a special incentive,t hat's the same old one.

I wasn't feeling it so no thanks.
