Here's a picture of Vivo Air LTE vs an Iphone 5s to show just how ridiculously thin this phone is: http://i.imgur.com/FVOlOE3.png

No expanded storage if anyone is wondering. I, personally, can't work with only 16gb. I'm sure for light users or people that use it for just a phone and mp3 player it should be fine.

On paper, the Idol 3 seems to be better. I've used neither though. http://gadgets.ndtv.com/blu-vivo-...3-5-5-2452

Pretty different phones.

This is a phone that's designed to be VERY thin and light and there are compromises that comes with that.

The Idol 3 advantages
-better battery life
-microsd card/dual sim slot
-dual front firing speakers
-bigger, higher res screen
-faster processor
-better LTE band support (though now with the removal of tmobile band 12 support in the Idol 3 band 12 on tmobile , it's a wash on tmob)

Vivo Air advantage
-Super super thin and light. At only 5.1mm thick and only a 4.8" screen, the vivo air is seriously in a class of its own when it comes to portability. To put it into perspective, the vivo air is about as thick as 3 quarters and it's the same weight as the Motoroal Razr V3 (how about that for a blast from the past). The vivo air is thinner and only 10 grams heavier than the ipod touch 6th generation.

You make some compromises with the vivo air, but it'll work just fine in most everyday usages. If you value having a phone that's thin and light, it just can't be beat.

Cons on this phone are limited lte (bands 2,4,7), no sd slot, 2050 mah battery, nano sim...

Type "verizon swappa" into your search engine. I see galaxy s4, Lg g2, moto X 2014, note 2 all in that range. Great place to buy in my experience if you don't mind used...
