My 2010 Jetta uses 0w-40 and I've always used Mobil one but annoyed by having to buy a 5 quart jug and a 1quart since it's recommended to use 6 qts. I'm glad this deal came back and there is a decent filter for $5.99 add-on (typically decent filters are about $10+ ).

Maybe other oil weights in 6pk and K&N filter for other sizes are available as well.

awesome, if I remember my last few non-german cars, 5w-30 was the most common weight used on cars. Don't forget the filter as well! Smilie

The k&n filter Ived used in the past was terrible. Cartridge style came out looking crushed, when a similar OEM Mann looked fine under similar mileage.

Edit: Looks like most of the top amazon comments echo the same thing I've said.

Yes, but I don't think they sell 0W-40 though.

My 2010 VW Golf uses 5W40 I believe (I've brought it out to change every time). I'm due for a change (over due actually), will this work? I've never/rarely seen 5W40 on sale, so not sure if I can use this. I'm not really knowledgeable at this at all.

The 5w-30 5qt jug of the extended performance is actually $25.47 at walmart. Unfortunately Amazon does not carry a K&N filter for the trailblazer, think I will grab a couple of fram ultras since I got 30qts I am sitting on.

Most costco stores only have 5w-20 and 5w-30, some have 0w-20 but I have never seen 0w-40 at costco
