When does this promotion end?

Will Steam run out of keys and end it early if there's too much interest or can we be guaranteed it'll last through at least 11:59 PM PST tonight?

The deal doesn't start until I'm at work, they frown on using Internet for game related stuff (remember in most businesses' eyes serious "professional" adults do not play games... just kids), and with the jillion levels of account protection and verification I wouldn't even want to try to log in on my phone. I'd much rather wait until I get home tonight, but so many of these types of deals end early when they supposedly "run out of stock" of digital items. I guess they don't have enough shelf space to store those.

I don't think you have to be on steam to get these free games. Just go to steam website, log in, and verify free purchases.

I'm going to say it's time based, and not quantity. Generally these "free game through_ date" is like that.

Many companies monitor website usage, so depending on how strict their company is, even going to the website may not be an option. There's plenty of monitoring software which categorizes website usage and it's easy to flag people for going to websites which are not work related.

This is the reason. My work allows Amazon, Newegg, even Slickdeals and other sites, but for some reason gaming sites are not considered OK.

I actually hung around a little bit longer (I'm allowed to go a little late) and it's past 10 AM PST and the sale still hasn't started. I didn't realize Steam was so non-punctual about starting deals. I hope it's still active late tonight.

Not seeing anything free...takes me to the 75% off games offer. Any direct links that work right now?

BOO on this. Here's an easier way.

Go to this website: http://www.makewarnotlove.com/results.php

Enter you stupid email address, confirm it, and get the stupid steam codes emailed to you. Unsubscribe from the flood of spam you will then receive. PROFIT!

I'm not seeing this on the web or in the client and your link doesn't work. Shrug.

Steam is not the most punctual company when it comes to their deals. Check back later in the day and there is a good chance the deal will be live and the links will work.

So I put in my email and got the confirmation, but the actual codes have not come in yet. It's been 15 minutes. They say it can take 24 hours. I hope I don't miss out on this! Frown

Edit: 24 hours later and still no codes! I was probably not going to get to these for a year anyway and I certainly wouldn't spend money on them.
