Should I get Squaretrade on a used Macbook Pro I bought from eBay?

Hi all,

I've been scouring eBay for a few months for Macbook Pro deals, and ended up on this. The total was about $1230 shipped, and it's a 15' inch Retina Macbook Pro. I'm not sure if it's a good, or even decent deal, but it's the one I got, and the value of these do not go down. I'm going to be using it for development, school, etc.

Since it's already a lot of money, I'm obviously hesitant to spend more. I'm not sure how good squaretrade is, and how likely these are to need serious/expensive repair. I believe that squaretrade is $260 for 2-years, no deductible, and $160 for 2-years, with a $75 deductible ($350/$230 for three years).

Wondering what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just to add, I bought squaretrade once for a used LED HDTV about 4-5 years ago, and never needed to use it.
