Almost every video card with a rebate has rebate complainer reviews... no different from any other rebate

If these companies wouldn't try to screw you out of the rebate, this wouldn't be an issue. At least this one gives you 30 days to PM the rebate. Not 15 days like some jokers. But 2 reviws out of 8 say the rebate here is a scam. I bought this card last night on Jet https://jet.com/product/EVGA-GeFo...7a7cacfb9c for $93.49 using 15% off first order disc. And no rebate to get screwed out of.

Jet 15% off first order coupons can't be considered an attainable discount by most people anymore, but that's good you got one for a nice price.

Rebates will always get denied for any possible reason, always been that way, but as long as the name and shipping address on the printed receipt match the name and address on the front of the rebate envelope there will be no problems Smilie basically, don't give them something to deny! All they're doing is making sure all the information matches.

I including the following with my rebate submission:

WARNING

Failure to pay a validly submitted rebate constitutes FRAUD. Due to repeated violations the submitter of this rebate has adopted a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for rebate fraud. Failure to pay this validly submitted rebate will result in complaints being filed against the retailer, manufacturer, and rebate house with the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Fraud Division of the District Attorney's Office, and the Fraud Division of the United States Postal Service. Repeated violators face possible criminal prosecution as well as punitive damages in Small Claims Court for the State of [insert State here].

I would consider the EVGA a better purchase even without the 15% off, EVGA has a Limited Lifetime Warranty (Original Purchasers Only)

Limited Lifetime Warranties are available to the original owner on applicable parts if registered by the original owner within 30 days of the date of purchase.

The 19 year old who opens your rebate laughs, tears the rebate in half, and does the same for the next hundred submission.

I understand you're trying to make a point that all rebates are bad, but that's really just not the case.

Every other video card deal from Newegg requires a mail-in rebate and it's no different here!

Thanks for the info. Will send in that warranty card. My son has a AMD FX 4100 with a poor vid card. Was going to rebuild it with a A10-7700 ($150 for MOBO and CPU/GPU) but decided to just get a better card for $100. Even though this CPU is old, it is almost as fast if not faster then their latest lineup, but only has 4 cores. And this card should outperform any A10 GPU.

They must have forgotten to jack up the price to offset the cost of that gift card! Now it is $129.99
