Feature User Comment
: I'm using this monitor right now. HIGHLY recommended. I'll try to answer questions:

Plug: DC from the monitor to power brick. Youll need the standard power plug (like what a computer PSU uses) with 3 prongs to your country's wall socket.

Panel: Definitely *not* TN. If it's TN, it's the best I've ever seen. Most likely MVA. Viewing angles are very good and blacks are inky. No bleeding like IPS tends to have. Light leakage is very minimal and consistent across all 4 sides. Not noticeable unless you're looking for it. - markbraggs

This deal is similar as yesterday deal.
But this monitor carries 3 HDMI 2.0 port rather than 1.4a.
Then it HAS a remote control.
The normal sale price is ~$300.

No warranty in US, need to send back to Korea if anything happens. Anyone can give their 5c on how feasible would it be to buy it with Discover or Citi warranty protection?

EDIT: Snatched one. Great reviews. This one convinced me hands down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7b2o2VJItQ
On top of that, eBay bucks plus cashback make it even cheaper (5% less in total).

They must have assumed you wanted to commit a fraud. Or, you *did* want to Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

if we get this, ...

1. what is the best credit card to use (obviously not discover?) for protection/warranty, and would we use it in conjunction with paypal for free return shipping?
2. what power plug converter do we need to purchase? it seems like they will not provide a converter

They didn't close my account, or maybe they did in a way. I had a lot of benefits on one of their cards, and suddenly they closed it and issued me new cards, but the benefits were GONE!!!! They also never paid me the benefits for $7000 purchase at Home Depot during a 5% promotion. They kept telling me it would come, and never did. I will never, ever even consider using another Discover card. They suck it big time IMO. I hate those lying, thieving ^&&(^(&^(*&. Mad

Similar situation as mine.
I claimed the 5% cash back at Microsoft store and the service said the money will come.
Just wait.
Then I found my card is closed.
My rewards ~700 dollars is also gone!
WTF!

I guess if you can ship it back to CA it might not be terrible, but probably still over the paypal $30. How are people's experiences with credit card warranties when using paypal though? I've heard mixed responses. Edit: I would just go with Amex or a Chase card with good return/damage protection.

You could buy a South Korea adapter, otherwise my guess is the usual 3-pin flat-prong power supply plug (that's what my SK 27" monitor uses at least), but I would probably wait until the monitor arrived.

I requested warranty coverage for an out of warranty tablet and they sent me a check immediately.
