I double checked and didn't see this one posted alongside the Target and Verizon pre order deals. This one is on par, if not slightly better than Target since a year of Netflix ends up being more than $100. (Per their offer disclaimer [t-mobile.com], which I'm guessing would then be the Standard subscription).

The VR package includes the Samsung Gear VR and a 6-pack VR game bundle (a $150 value).

Here is the S7 Link [t-mobile.com] $669.99 full retial OR $27.92/mo. x 24 months

And the S7 Edge Link [t-mobile.com] $779.99 full retail OR $32.50/mo. x 24 mos

So, solid deal for T-Mobile customers looking to upgrade.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I definitely jumped on this this morning. I already have Netflix, so this is a good deal.

I wish we had the Gear S2 deal that Verizon has, but free Netflix is pretty good with a Gear VR is cool to try at least.

I don't see a need to preorder for the savings, 3 months after the release I'm expecting the phone to be discounted $200-300. Unfortunately this is a normal trend with the galaxy's.

I also jumped on this morning. I got the S7 Edge. I took a chance and got the gold platinum. I'm pretty sure I'll like it. I always get a clear back cover. I guess the regular S7 might be a little better with the VR but probably not that noticeable for most people.

Yep, been kicking myself for spending on the GS6 Edge early (heck I even bought it unlocked). Then the T-Mobile variant ended up getting updates faster than my international unlocked version and mine still doesn't have Samsung Pay! And a few months on, T-Mobile started selling the 64GB version for the same price as the 32GB one with a few freebies thrown in. Not to mention I had to get a Squaretrade warranty with my international one lol. Gonna wait it out this time.

EDIT: Also since I'm on T-Mobile myself, getting the T-Mo variant would have let me unlock it no problem in a month or two (I believe it's a 40 day waiting period). All I've had to show for getting the international one with the S6 Edge is the ability to sign up for the Marshmallow Beta and be on 6.0.1 early but at a few hundred dollars upcharge + a $100+ warranty. I like the phone, but the battery pisses me off no end even with everything disabled and I have it in a Mophie case permanently to remedy that. I'll wait it out for some impressions on the S7 before I take a call on buying one.

As far as Netflix, I just chatted with T moblile. You can apply it to an existing account but the Netflix account has to be in the same name as the person buying the phone.

I highly doubt that rule will be enforced/can be enforced

yup I know exactly what you mean, I bought mine full price from T-Mobile, 2 months later I see them selling for $500 unlocked.
