Looking for an Chevrolet AC Delco alternator

truckinusa 850 214 February 26, 2016 at 05:22 PM
Any suggestions where I can find a deal on an alternator that will hopefully last? I am confused by the quality of various brands and haven't found any deals.

Its for a Chevrolet Impala 2005 with a 3.4L motor.

GM part # is 22708250

These are only $97 on Amazon new. For a 2005, however, I would personally get a used alternator. In 20 years of driving, I have only had to replace an alternator on one vehicle and that was 15 years after it rolled off the assembly line. Check http://car-part.com/.

Do a ac delco replacement on amazon and get a damaged packaging deal.
I've done it for my 99 k20 and 2001 s10 blazer 4.3 and both came new as could be.

I'll second rock auto. Parts are usually cheaper there than anywhere if shipping doesn't get too crazy. Sometimes their shipping rates are a bit high, but part costs are always good. They also always have a 5%off coupon, just do a google search for it and you should be able to find it.
