This is how it played out for me in Athens, Ga.
Strolled through electronics and noticed 1 left on the shelf with no price tag or a display on the wall. I had them scan it and it rang up $598. I pulled up brickseek and ran the item id '43310255' to see surrounding store prices. Well look at that, $398 in Winder, 30 miles from me but with zero in stock. My store even showed 0 in stock but I had one right in front of me. Of course the Walmart in Athens would not price match. Then I got the idea...I called the Walmart in Winder and confirmed they had zero in stock. So i asked them if i purchased for $598 in Athens, could I bring the tv and receipt to Winder and do a return/purchase for the $398. Customer service said of course so I told them I am on the way. 30 min later I receive a price adjustment in cash and I am on my way. Currently enjoying some 4K content on Netflix.

I have put in a few random zip codes in Brickseek and have yet to find another store with a $398 listing but maybe someone will have the same luck that I had. So you either find a store with one in stock for $398 or do a puchase for $598 and do an adjustment at the store listed at $398.

For stores with the lower price, call and give them the UPC # to confirm the price in their system matches what you see online. 845226012297

Anyone in St. Louis? You have a few stores with stock at $598 but also show a couple stores with a $300 price tag. Go!

Yeah. I'm sure this will work with many models and locations. I had been looking at the 43" at Best Buy but the 50" is perfect for my room.

Will all Walmarts price match like your situation? Did you have to actually bring in the tv or just the receipt?

2 places have this TV for 450.00

But honestly guys this TV is below 65 inch and lacks HDR. 1080p would be just as good in this case.

They might if the other store has it in stock. If you find a store with $398 or lower, just call and ask them if they have any in stock and go from there.

And since the customer service at the store I was making the return/purchase at closed at 10pm, I brought the tv in with the receipt. I pulled in the parking lot at 9:45.

<65" and you won't notice the difference between 4k and 1080p. Waste of time.

Sounds like they made an exception or the cashier was stoked at the time. I did this with zte zmax for $45 and it was hit or miss.

Good price but...

As a TV: It's too small for 4k to matter does not have a great picture.
As a Monitor: it cannot do 4:4:4 and was panned. [rtings.com]

For those who care, it is limited to 60 Hz [rtings.com] and has significant motion blur [rtings.com] and the local dimming does not work well.
