Quick Charge 2.0 Cables

When shopping for spare phone charging cables, how can you tell is the cable supports quickcharge 2.0? I have found that some cables do not engage the quick charge function. What do I need to look for?

The cables aren't really special, but you do want decent cables - in particular look to make sure the gauge of the current wires is 20 or 22, not the "standard" 28 gauge (which is really thin).

Cabling isn't the only thing to consider though. The "wall-wart" or AC to DC adapter is a major component. Normally these would need to charge at about 1/2 v higher and at a higher current rating as well.

Whenever I go on Amazon I search QC 2.0 cables and find them

Thanks for the advice and links to information. I wl look for 20 Guage when buying spare cables.
