i saw some new to me cards in the .99 section so if they were new chances are they were not programmed.

I also bought 3 cards this morning and received the cat. They were $0.99 birthday and thank you cards.

I hope I am not too late but I just got back last tranny was around 11:45 am and all worked fine. I also saw a few people at the SCO at S. Attleboro and I knew they were doing the deal bec they only bought cards.
Yesterday, there were .99 cents cards that would not scan, the cashier just looked at the ones I bought and re-scanned it, just a little warning.

OT: I saw the Pepperidge Farm person stocking the the shelf, I asked if he has any PF Goldfish q's. He said he did not but gave me PF Cookie q's instead. I will use those tomorrow.

I got a few 99 cent graduation money holders (after someone here reported they worked) and they worked for me as well.

Tax vs no tax

The only common denominator I noticed in any of my transactions that had no tax, was that I had a taxable grocery item (soda) and no regular non-taxable grocery item. In my experience this week this is the only thing all my no-tax orders had in common. So amyone else who had a transaction that had no sales tax check to see if your orders were like mine with a taxable grocery item (in my case soda) and no center aisle non taxable grocery items.
