RETIRED Stop & Shop (CT, MA, NH, NJ, NY, RI) Deals

Still working as of 930 this morning. Bought a bunch of the .99 cards. I had to buy actual groceries at the store so instead of breaking it up into small transactions, (my 18 month old was wailing at the top of his lungs) I bought all the cards in one transaction. I now have 5 of the Cats to spend at a later date. I did do one other transaction. 2 of the stop n shop fries and 2 powerades and spent $1 exactly. I was happy with that.

So to decide if I am done......

I did it separately, since only 1 $5 Cat can be used per transaction. It should work if it is one of the listed stores for the deal on Coupon Network.

Finally managed a zero oop transaction. I got 1 banana, 1 cow tail candy, 3 cards, and 1 pkg of SNS frozen bagels. I will be so sad come Friday.

How much is the cowtail candy-the lender's bagels are $1.59. I've been buying those and a s&s yogurt for .19.

Where is cow-tail candy - by the registers or in the candy isle?
I had to get 1.25 Cadbury and 1.50 Dove candy bar could not find any other decent cheap candy.

The cowtail candy is .34¢ and it's in the regular candy aisle near all the 10/$10 candy. It's the cheapest candy I could find. I bought the SNS bagels for $1.50, .34¢ cowtail, 3 cards, and a .19¢ banana all for zero! No beeps, no intervention needed at SCO.

You could also throw in 2 more bananas instead of the candy and pay 4 cents.

Without the candy I would be charged sales tax which would add an extra .18¢ to the total. Having a taxable grocery item in the order turns the cat into a tax reducing cat. Anytime i've tried using the cat without a taxable grocery item in the order the cat does not reduce the sales tax on the cards.

Not all the time, guess it depends on Store, county or even State, my local SNS works exactly like u said and tried it many times to confirm but not the other one (mile away from me and a different county), was there this morning, got 3 cards + Voortman cookies and 1 gum and I got charged $0.27 in Tax

I don't think the cookies are taxable so the cat would attach to them.

That's right, but I had 1 gum which is taxable.
