Helpful S&S Info:

Instant Savings Deals Go Off Sale Price And Coupons Will Be Deducted As Well but Instant Deals that are buy 10 (or any specific # of an item) can use coupons as the register just counts the number of items.

Zero total is fine at SCO, it does not need intervention YMMV when using cats and your order is less than .25c

B1G1 Free coupon with barcode ending in 14 auto deducts and does not need intervention.

Coupon codes 00 and 01 need intervention. Free item coupons generally have those codes as well as some B1G1Free coupons.

992 coupons (including manufacturer coupon & oyno catalinas) beep at SCO. Therefore it is best to use them at regular cashier - there it will be beepless if it can attach to an item with cost greater or equal to coupon value. (Note: if you are using a regular mfr coupon on that item then one of them would beep - two coupons can't attach to the same item, therefore it is recommended to use those oynos on items for which there is no coupon such as meat, produce, etc.) Otherwise they would beep and the cashier would do one of three things: 1) put them in as store coupon - select department - grocery, etc. (must have purchases more than face value of the coupon in that department for this to take) ; 2) put it in as cash and then ring coupon only order at customer service desk; 3) make up excuses in order not to take it.

Store coupon (including oyno catalinas that are store coupons) needs an item (of any value) to attach to. It appears that it looks for nontaxable grocery items first, then for taxable grocery items (soda, candy), then for other items. In post-coupon tax state it will remove tax only if it attaches to taxable grocery item (obviously you need to have no nontaxable grocery items and at least 1 taxable grocery item in your order for it to do so). Limit 1 store coupon (of the same code) per transaction.

oyno catalinas beep on "items prohibited by law" such as alcohol, etc. and also beep on OTC meds

On B1G1 free sale you can use two coupons $x/1item or one coupon $y/2items or one B1G1F coupon for each two items

I haven't used gas points ever, I finally got a bunch for buying Fantastik last week. Don't know if anyone here can answer.
The Shell gas station near me is $1 less per gallon for cash price, does gas points work for cash price?
Also are the gas points only good for one fill-up, to top off my car only takes like 12-13 gallons.
My guess would be the cash prices as long as you pay the remainder due in cash. You only get one fill w the points savings. So if you have any gas cans you can bring them and fill them at the same time just dont put the pumper back on the thingy until your done.

Monkey I sent ya a PM send me what your looking for

My car is like yours 12-13 gal. I have 630 points I will be using tomorrow....so It will be $.60 less a gal for me with 30 points left over for next time. So unless you bring gas cans that is all you will get. Some people Bring 2 cars and as long as you don't put the nozzle back you can continue to fill other car........You can pay with cash.
Quote from halokiti View Post :
I have 1600 points, I guess I should fill up two cars to maximize my points. It's a lot of points and a real bargain since I used a lot of Fantastik coupons with Y miracle.
Quote from shea419 View Post :
Just make sure you bring both cars together and don't put the nozzle back after first one.
Some drive in together on either side of pump and when 1st is done just switch the nozzle in other car. Good Luck.
I'd be careful with multiple cars, or at least be aware that the pumps say limit 1 vehicle per purchase. I have seen the attendants stop people from filling two cars. I use multiple 5 gallon gas cans to get my 35 gallons and I've never been questioned.

Decent deal on chocolate chips....

They are on sale 2/$5this week.... use the $1/2 or .75/2 in the 3/25 SS
+there is a CAT.

Buy Nestle Toll House morsel between 3/19/12 – 4/15/12
Buy 2, get $1
Buy 3, get $1.50
Buy 4+, get $2 OYNO

If you have the .75/2 you would pay $7 and get back $2cat. So it would be $5 for 4 bags.
Hope that helps someone.Big Grin

I bought the steak things last night and cooked for my hubby. I agree VERY Greasy and a lil scarey looking prior to cooking it looks like cardboard haha. I had to use almost the entire box for his sub but at 2.99 still an ok price. I couldnt bring myself to eat one way to much grease for me. But I will toss
another set in my next trip since the boxes are tiny and will fit in my freezer. I figure when hes hungry late night it will make a good snack for him.

Anyone do a double run of the buy $25 save $7? I love that the capri suns are in smaller boxes now and have a section to rip off so they store in the fridge better. Im thinking if I di a double run I will only need to grab a few extras to get over the $50 and get the bonus gas points.

I'm going to second this. I've only used gas points twice and both times I had huge discounts, so I wanted to do both cars. The first time, at a Shell, we had no problem pulling up both cars.

Last night at a SNS gas station I had planned to do 2 cars + a 5 gal gas can and after filling up one car was cut off by the attendant. She told me I "couldn't do what I was about to do and had to do another transaction." Stinker because the price was down to 2.04/gal and we will be using A LOT of gas this week! MadOh well, live and learn. I did not have the money to buy multiple gas cans, although I think I may have to start planning for that.

It was late, so I guess we were a bit noticeable, but also on that note, she couldn't cut me some slack? It's not like all the pumps were busy! shake head

I was so annoyed by it (it hadn't been a good day) that I hung up the pump and got gas for my second car somewhere else.

My hubby is away during the week for work alot so I too wanted to get some gas cans so Im not waiting for his truck to come home or waste the extra gas points. I looked up prices and basically its $15 for a 5 Gal. can. I need to pick up three new cans I hate the one I have in the garage now it leaks all over me when I use it.

Lowes and Home Depot usually have them for about $10-12. I buy them when ACE comes out with their 50% off $12 coupon. I don't like to pay more than $5 each for them.

I paid $15 at Walmart, did not check elsewhere. I do like the idea of finding a sale/coupon at Ace. Could be handy. Smilie

I'm actually really disappointed I lost out on about 20 gals of gas at 2.04.

Next time there is a deal similar to the compleats or gum, I'm going to slay it and get tons of gas, so there, SNS! laugh out loud

Ack, sorry that happened to you! Have you filled up at that station before? Maybe they are starting to watch out for this sort of thing. I get my family to fill up more than one car because mine only takes 11 gal so it's a waste when I have a $1 or more discount. It is a huge chore to plan it so that we need gas and can drive to the station to get it... I would be very unhappy if the attendant pulled that stunt with me. Can I ask how you were maneuvering things i.e. did you have one car on each side of the pump or did you pull up after the first car was filled? I have done both but I'm not sure which is more discreet... my gas station is the only one in the immediate area so it's fairly busy indoors and out, even at night.

At this particular SNS station we had the cars behind one another and was going to pull forward. Not terribly discreet I guess, side by side could be a good idea, but I honestly didn't think they'd give a darn. I mean, it was late, slow business, and IME most gas station attendants don't seem to care about anything. Oh well. This station was pretty empty though, so I guess she was bored. laugh out loud I'm disappointed, really could have used the discount, but I'll just have to do better next time.

one car on each side works well to me, I did this once, sorry for the bad experience, but like you said, nobody would think they care ...hug
