are these really sheep's balls?

I have these and can confirm they reduce static a bit. Bigger impact for me is that they reduce drying times. I would recommend IF you're OK with the noise. They are quite loud banging around so if you have a laundry room near bedrooms or even living space, you might get really annoyed by these. We definitely have to close the laundry room door during nap times and even take the balls out entirely sometimes.

Does not stop/reduce static but does reduce drying time. I just put in an aluminum sheet rolled up for static and reuse the aluminum sheet.

confirm. I actually use 12 at a time. I feel like they do reduce static, reduce drytime, make a bunch of noise, and also make sure everything dries even. it also helps prevent the dreaded sheets rolling up onto itself.

I've never heard of this trick. Care to explain a little further?
