Looks like you are in the minority here. TVs in general have a failure rate of about 2% in the first year and 8% over 4 years. Even the highest quality of TVs have some duds. This is one of the highest rated TVs on BB's website. When you look at the Changhongs of the TV world you see a much lower rating. Not because the picture or features are bad, but because they have a high failure rate.

Sorry, but it appears that you were one of the unlucky few that got a bad one. One of the nice things to mention here is the fact that this is at such a low price point, and very reliable, percentage speaking. The best thing about this is the relationship that best buy has with Toshiba. Best Buy facilitates their warranty claims. If you get a dud (doesn't last 1 year) you will get a new one from BB. Once you get past the first year, based on this TV falling within industry standard failure rates, you have just as much of a chance of this guy failing as you would with a $2000 Samsung.
I bought this TV on Black Friday for $150. Highly recommend it.

I got this TV a few weeks back, and it's been a great TV for casual use. If you are expecting an amazing picture with perfect refresh rate, you'll be disappointed. It's a pretty good TV for the money and I would totally buy again.

You should be ok. They would rather adjust the price than have you return it and buy another one with the coupon. If they don't budge, buy it with the coupon and return the same one with your other reciept.
