Page loads then goes to the bottom of the page

Every time I open a slickdeals page it takes me to the bottom of the page. I'm using a Mac and i've tried Google Chrome and Safari but both do this. Does anyone know how to fix it? It didnt use to do it. Thanks

Does it do that for any other sites? Have you tried incognito mode?

Your issue is isolated so before a fix we need to determine what is doing it. I have to think it's a plugin or something like that.

It has to be something with this site or something in my profile cause it does it on my desktop Windows computer too also does it on my phone in mobile version and desktop version. The app works fine but thats it.

If its a plug in then it wouldn't go it on different browsers right?

I'm a computer technician but mostly do hardware stuff but I still know quite a bit about software but I cannot figure out what is causing this besides a issue in my profile. I did add a "click to tab" extension awhile back for chrome but i removed it and restarted the browser and it still didnt fix the issue plus it does it on different devices with different browsers so thats why I keep coming back to a site or profile issue.

Being multi browser but limited to only one site is very perplexing. Kind of stumped at the moment. Probably worth doing a virus, malware scan just to double check. Reset your profile in the browser as well.

but that's my only issue the computer works great other than that. I work for a school system it happens at work and at home that's why I keep coming back to a profile issue. I've already reset my settings in Chrome and Internet Explorer.

If you log off, do you have the same problem? Either way, it sounds like it might be worth trying to get the attention of a site dev over at the site issues forum (this is a general computer tech support forum and the site devs don't pay much attention here).

Well oddly enough it doesn't do it anymore. Maybe I just had to make a post about it. It had been doing it for weeks.

I'm a bit late to the party, but here are a couple thoughts / questions:
Was it doing this on every slickdeals page or only certain pages like the front page?
When it happens is there anything at the end of the URL in your browser bar that starts with # (eg. example.com/index.html#bottom)? This is an html target and can make the browser jump to a particular part of the page.
Are you running any ad blockers?

You know what I was wrong earlier when I said it did it at work and at home. Its weird but it only does it at work so now i'm thinking its something to do with our network. I work for a school so there are alot of restrictions. Thanks for the help everyone.
