This is probably the best music player on Android. I had purchased it for $5 couple of years back. Its now only $0.99
Poweramp Full Version Unlocker [google.com] = $0.99

I really liked PowerAMP, but actually switched to Player Pro due to the reason I travel a lot outside of the US and my phone does not have a international plan so I turn off cell/data. After a few days PowerAMP would give me a error it could not authenticate the license and would not launch. I have never had that issue with PlayPro.

Completely worth it. The preamp and EQ on this app make your music sound amazing. Stereo X is a nice feature in the EQ panel. But besides that it is organized and makes finding/playing your music a breeze. An essential android app. Get this and Nova launcher (which is also on the front page of SD right now!).

Is it still worth it if 99% of the music I hear is streaming? (Pandora, so we Spotify, play music, and etc)

I sync iTunes with Google Play and then tell Google Play to download the playlist. This is all done wirelessly.

Free player, integrated controls, and wireless syncs with iTunes easily.

Does PowerAmp do any of that?

I am not too sure, I use local music and found this very useful. But if you use steaming apps, this may not be that great for you. You can try free trial app - https://play.google.com/store/app...udioplayer

This is for people who own their own music and store it on their android device. Although if you felt like supporting a developer, feel welcome to buy it. This app is constantly updated. The great thing about hosting your music on your phone is that you don't have to rely on networks to listen to your music. As much as I love Pandora, when traveling in my car and streaming the music into my car audio system (via bluetooth), often times I find long stretches of road with no phone/data service. Thus I can't stream any music. At least with local storage you can always play your music and you don't have to use your 4G bandwidth caps, worry about no coverage, etc.

If you have this app, use the "Black Neon" skin. It makes the app look pretty darn sweet.

agree with you. I also like the features like when I plug in my headphones - it automatically starts the music app. same setting can be done for bluetooth devices too.

My default music app used to show the phone media folders including whatsapp media files, using this app I can device which folder should be considered as music library.

Google Play Music will let you download music selectively to play offline. No streaming required.

I like the cool factor of PowerAmp though. I remember WinAmp from back in the day. It was the best.
