Amazon also has the 16GB tablet new with Prime shipping (sold from Dell):

*Please note - After I placed the order for the 16GB on the Dell website and started to draft this post, the pricing on the Dell homepage for the Venue 8 7000 Series changed from clear pricing to "Call for Pricing".

On my order for the 16GB, my invoices list a $200 discount from $399 based on a "Order Level Promotion"

The Dell search page still shows the sale price though - http://pilot.search.dell.com/7840

I love this tablet. The screen is fantastic, and the form factor, particularly the very thin bezel, makes it smaller overall than some tablets with smaller screens. However, the thin bezel may bother some people with small hands. I sometimes hold it from the bottom, but more often palm it on the back. My hands are probably medium sized, so if you have small hands, holding it could be fairly annoying. Otherwise, Android is nearly stock, it has a micro SD card slot, it's quite thin, it performs well, and the screen really is gorgeous. Every review I read before buying it raved about the screen and I understand why.
I bought mine about 8 months ago referb and it is the best Android tablet I have used. my biggest issue is that the wifi antenna is located in the same place as the camera, which on this tablet is also the best place to hold it. you actually lose wifi signal by holding it in the most comfortable position. if you have good coverage, wouldn't be a problem.

Dell makes tablets? This is the first I heard of this. I don't even like tablets and I kinda want this haha! Planning on an XPS 13 in April, Dell and Windows will have my soul

Too little storage for me.... if I knew it would get Marshmallow (which allows you to use the microSD card just like internal storage) I would jump on this but Dell refuses to answer my query on the topic so I have to assume the answer is a "no".

Lol like I said, I hate tablets ._. I haven't looked at an iPad in years. I haven't seen any reviews of any either. I'm afraid that if I look into one I'll end up buying one!

why would it be no? why would there be a sd card reader and not be able to read the card? if you do a quick Google search you can use it as mass storage up to 512gb

I just ordered this with my Discover card. Cashback wasn't available anymore, but there was a 10% instant savings code, "Exclusive10%off", offered through Discover Deals for an extra $20 off. Thanks, OP.

You can use it for music and videos but not apps. Right now I have Simpsons Tapped Out and RR3 loaded on my 16gb so I'm basically out of space.
