First post here, be easy.

Advance Auto Parts has 2 Promo Codes that are running currently.
Advance Auto Link
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/home
TRT41 = 40$ off 100.
TRT30 = 30% off up to 50$ off total purchase.
40$ Rebate on Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional pads and 2 Carquest Wearever rotors. (Must be purchased as a set. 1 Set of pads (4 pads) and 2 Rotors to be eligible.)
Rebate Link
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/o/rebates

So for Instance, I used TRT30 on 1 order, to purchase Front Pads and Rotors, for a total of 120$. Then used their website to apply for the 40$ rebate. 120 Cash OOP - $40 rebate (Advance auto Gift Card) NET 80$ for Front Pads and Rotors for 2007 F150

Then I made another order using TRT41($40 off 100) to buy rear pads and rotors.
Original Price
Pads 45.99
Rotors 35.09 Each
Total 116.17
After TRT41
Pads 30.15
Rotors 46.02
Total 76.17
REBATE 40$ Gift Card
Net 36.17

So I am doing Brakes all the way around my truck for 200$ Out of pocket, and getting $80 in rebate, and a $20 off 40 speed perk coupon.
Prices vary upon application obviously.
Free Store Pick Up
Free shipping to home over 75$
Receive Speed Perks $20 off 40 coupon if spend over 100
$5 off 30 if less than 100.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

This is not Expired. Don't know why it is reading as such.

This seems like a great deal to me. I changed all 4 of my brakes and rotors less than a year ago, but I'm almost tempted to get this deal just to hold on to it.

Don't forget there is 11% cash back at tcb and the coupons never invalidated cb for me.

I think I am going to order one set today, then wait for the $20 off $40 speedperks to come in from the purchase (takes ~1 week to come in). Then order the second set with the 40 off 100 coupon as well as speedperks.

If my math is right, for a full set of rotors and platinum ceramic brake pads would be $160 after tax and i'll get $80 gc mail in rebate.

I just have to decide if I want to hold on to the parts for a few years before I use them. My desire to not hoard stuff and my urge to SD are in quite the conflict!

warning that advanced auto gift cards are near useless as you can only use them in store where prices are jacked up.

word of warning, i just filled in the rebate from doing this earlier this week. it is only $20 per axle, not $40 per axle. so brake pads and two rotors came up to about 75 for me after using a code and 5 dollar speed perks. was excited when i thought i was getting everything for $35. now, it is $55 AND the gift card is a store gift card. not great since i buy everything online and pickup so i can use a code.

probably going to rhino line the inside of a jeep, which is not available for discount codes, so I guess the gift card will at least work out for me.

Wow then the ad is pretty misleading. Thanks for the info.

They don't have front rotors for a 2014 Fiesta ST Frown
Also if you have this car, I suggest you get these pads (PMD1730H) as I'm worried the other ones may not fit. A local NAPA sold me pads to a normal Fiesta and they're nearly falling out of the calipers.

Do you (or anyone else that has submitted) know if you can break your purchase into multiple? ie, my rotors are $69/ea and it would benefit me to use the $40/100 on two orders. Any thoughts if they will accept the rebate on split purchases? it looks like the online form wants one purchase date, etc.

I buy all brake components off of ebay. Prime Choice is my go to. Usually get pads and rotors for about $40 for each axle.

Got my rotors and brakes a few days ago and applied for rebate. No rep point or tu from me though. I also got the email abot the deal, and the codes are well known

I ordered in 2 purchases to save $$. I talked with AA chat before I ordered, and they informed me to do so to receive 40$ per order (2 $40 rebates).

Are you considering buying 2 rotors and pads in one order, then another set? That is exactly what I did. Or are you thinking 1 rotor and pads in first order, then the other rotor in the next? I did not try to separate axle sets in to multiple purchases.

JBSurfer,
How do you locate the $ amount of the rebate you submitted? I am only able to view "In Process" for my rebate status, without a $ designation for either order.

Thanks!

Wow, nice find. I couldnt find that for the life of me. If that is really the case, I will have to contact Cust Serv again...

EDIT: Just clicked through my rebate link, now shows $20 for each axle... Very misleading advertisement indeed.

I am not very happy atm.
